Terrible Mechanic
So those who read my articles before know that I had a shop a while back make me a upgraded cooling system for this car. They installed it and caused massive electrical issues. FINALLY it's back on the road and running properly on the stock setup. One of the issues I was having when I have having the electrical problem, however, was that the right headlight was intermittent. They claimed I needed a new light, I claimed it was due to their wiring as it worked fine before they had it. I took the car back and replaced the bulb, of course it's not the issue with the bulb. Wish I would have swapped sides before I paid $60 for a pair. I've wasted so much money on buying shit on their suggestion. Not going back.
What's funny is I told these idiots AGAIN AND AGAIN that this headlight issue probably is related to their fucked wiring and setup for this thing. Everything else I told them what was wrong I was right. Everything. If it wasn't for them fixing this thing for free and if I knew more about wiring and electricals I would have done this myself.
Anyways the car is running fine now that these idiots took out their damage they did to me. Of course aside from the headlight.
Shit like this is why I generally work on my own car. Aside electrical issues. However whenever I've had electrical issues I've ALWAYS been fucked by mechanics. This electrical issue was caused by me getting custom work done, which is something I won't be doing ever again. I'm out about $1000 total here I guess it could have been worse but still.
Total cost:
$700 (custom fan setup)
$200 (alternator) <- old one was probably fine
$66 (two headlight bulbs) <- didn't fix the issue
Lessons Learned: Trust myself. Stay as OEM as possible.
What's Next?
I don't drive this during night so i'm going to leave the headlight issue alone for now. Next i'm going to install the Power FC and boost controller and get this car tuned. After the exhaust install the car is running rich and is popping. Tune should clean this out.
Replacement MAF (trying to resolve a separate issue) $140
The tuner I use chargers about $400 i'm hoping to get this done next month. It's probably going to be done next month. I'm going to be staying at this level of mods for quite a while. Next steps get spendy.

That's really clean looking, first of all. It's bad that each time you've had electrical issues the mechanic has no idea. Even without driving it at night, you should definitely rewire the headlights in case of really cloudy days or rain.

cloudy days and rain are rare where I am in Las Vegas, lol. This isn't my daily too so i'm good there for a bit.
I am going to get this done before the end of the year though. Especially after I get this tune. I just have a monthly budget on what I can spend on the car so it's going to wait until december if I can't figure it out on my own
